Microphone Tutorial | Overcome the Challenges of Socially Distanced Classrooms & Meeting SpacesClassrooms and presentation spaces that require social distancing are presenting challenges in applications that would normally use desktop boundary microphones or a single ceiling-mounted DSP based microphone solution. Overcoming distance limitations by placing multiple microphones with high directionality in the ceiling provides an effective way to cover a space while maintaining a safe distance.
Using a single ceiling-mounted DSP based microphone solution is most effective for smaller groups that are within relatively similar distances from the microphone, such as what you might find in a small boardroom. As those distances expand and vary, digital signal processing can be used to balance the audio, but at a certain point, it will become necessary to use multiple DSP driven systems.
A simpler and more cost-effective method would be to distribute multiple single element, high-directionality microphones throughout the space. In this video, we use ES931ML highly directional microphones mounted to flush mount Dante interfaces. This combination provides superior control over sound sources along with the simplicity of Dante audio routing.

Wireless Manager Software Tutorial | Frequency CoordinationThis tutorial will cover the Frequency Coordination process and how to deploy the results to wireless devices using Audio-Technica's Wireless Manager software.
The Frequency Coordination tab is used to build a frequency plan based on synched wireless equipment, local TV channels, and other sources of interference. By prioritizing the added devices for coordination, Wireless Manager calculates the best frequency plan. Users can then push the configured frequencies to Audio-Technica networked devices.
