Regional Sales Representative

Job Description

Regional Sales Representative needed for leading manufacturer's rep firm and distributor in the Ohio Valley Territory servicing the residential audio and video markets.

Utilize your knowledge and experience in residential audio and video to sell some of the industry's leading brands to residential AV integrators and retailers. You will also interface directly with some end users.

Specific job responsibilities include servicing existing accounts, developing new accounts by identifying potential customers, and building strong business relationships.

Motivate your customer's staff through active product demonstrations and by working with your client's sales and technical teams to identify the best products for various applications.

Travel 2-3 days per week (travel expenses compensated, must have reliable transportation).

Job Requirements

The successful applicant will be self-motivated. You will be working from our main office in Wadsworth or a home office (depending on location) and must have the discipline and work ethic to work independently to achieve sales goals, execute sales promotions and programs, seek out new accounts and grow existing accounts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

At least 5-10 years of experience in hands-on residential audio/video experience is required. This experience may include sales, installation, programming, or designing of home theaters, whole-house audio/video, or outdoor sound systems. It is assumed this experience has provided you with extensive integration and application knowledge of surround sound processors, amplifiers, speaker systems, DSP processors, and other related technologies.

Must have general knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic other computing skills. Position requires daily input into CRM (customer relationship software).
